Rick Takahashi and Jerry Hubka, co-authors of the new book,Modern Midges - Tying and Fishing the World's Most Effective Patterns.

This is a great book we should all have on our shelves. More than 1000 fly patterns beautifully illustrated plus detailed essays on the minutae of midge fishing. It's the most comprehensive midge pattern and fishing techniques resource to date. They have also pulled together a collection of essays on various tactics and methods from a series of experts.
November Meeting: Mike Kruise: Fishing Kodiak Island (11/18/2010)
Mike tell us about his latest fishing trip to Alaska. He'll bring a slide presentation and a selection of flies to help demonstrate methods to catch the many species of salmonids found there. We'll get the low-down on Kodiak Island and a focus on Dolly Varden and trout fishing in the area.
