Protecting the St. Vrain since 1975
St. Vrain Anglers Trout Unlimited is a dedicated, community-driven non-profit organization committed to conserving, protecting, and restoring the coldwater fisheries and watersheds across our region. We believe that clean, free-flowing rivers are the lifeblood of our local ecosystems and a cherished resource for the entire community.
Our work spans three core pillars:
Hands-On Conservation & Restoration: We partner with local agencies and land managers to execute critical stream restoration projects. From repairing eroded riverbanks and improving instream aquatic habitat to organizing community river cleanups, we work to ensure our local waters remain resilient and healthy for trout and other wildlife.
Education & Youth Outreach: Inspiring the next generation of conservationists is essential to our mission. Through youth fly-fishing clinics, stream-side ecology lessons, and educational workshops, we introduce people of all ages to the art of angling and the science of watershed stewardship.
Advocacy & Community Engagement: We serve as a strong, proactive voice for our local rivers. By collaborating with policymakers, land managers, and outdoor enthusiasts, we advocate for sustainable water management and conservation policies that protect our rivers today and for decades to come.
