President Barbara Sheedlo
Barb joined the Board in 2019 as Vice President, and then the President role in 2021. After a 30-year career as a geoscientist on the Gulf Coast, Barb was excited to retire to Niwot where she and her husband Mark could spend their time exploring the mountains, forests, and streams of Colorado. In addition to fly fishing and hiking, Barb enjoys playing golf and spending time with their 2 dogs: Finn, the Jack Russell Terrier and Rudi, the German Wirehaired Pointer. Barb also serves on the Colorado TU Board as Advocacy Chair.

Vice President Tyler Scott
Tyler joined SVATU after moving to Colorado from Vermont in 2022 where he was an architect and volunteered for both TU and Casting For Recovery.. Tyler has been fly fishing from a young age and still enjoys what there is to learn about the sport.  In his spare time Tyler volunteers for Habitat For Humanity and he and his wife can often be found both hiking and fishing in the St. Vrain River area.

Treasurer Royce Walton
Royce Walton joined the board in 2022 as a way to meet people in the community after moving to Longmont from Denver. Royce loves the outdoors and has been fishing since he could walk. While he's still learning a lot about Longmont and Boulder County, some early favorites are The Mountain Fountain, Cheese Importers, Longmont's EXCELLENT public library, all of Boulder County's open spaces, and the Big Thompson River.

Secretary Libby Earthman
Libby grew up in Longmont and her first exposure to TU was in the early 80s when she would tag along with her dad to SVATU meetings. Her early experiences with TU inspired a 21-year career in trout, salmon, and river conservation. Libby lives in Longmont with her husband, daughter, dog, and two chickens where she’s transitioned out of conservation and into real estate so she can spend at least a month every summer camping and fishing with her family.

Programs Chair Charlie Morris
Charlie Morris is a dedicated member of the Saint Vrain Angler Trout Unlimited board, having joined in 2022. Since relocating to Colorado in 1993, Charlie has been captivated by the state's natural beauty. His passion for fly fishing emerged as he explored the backcountry, making the search for trout a constant part of his adventures. Charlie has explored diverse wilderness areas like the Wind River Range, Bob Marshall Wilderness, and Togiak National Wildlife Refuge & Togiak Wilderness in Alaska.   He has most recently accepted the position of program chair and actively contributes to the program committee, promoting sustainable fishing practices and environmental conservation within the organization.

Education Chair HELP NEEDED

Membership Chair Dean Kaiser
Dean Kaiser joined the SVATU board in 2023 to repay the efforts of TU and past board members. He is a Colorado native that has enjoyed the outdoors and fishing since he caught his first fish on Sheep Creek in Larimer County at the age 4 years. While working for a Denver electrical contractor as a superintendent/Project Manager, Dean still finds time to wet a line in the northern Colorado waterways and Rocky Mtn National Park. He lives in Longmont with his wife and Mini Aussie.

Communications Editor Bryce Larson
Bryce got involved with the board in 2022 as a way to be more involved in a new city. She spent time in college gaining a passion for angling and a love for fresh water conservation work so TU became a good outlet to foster those interests more. She’s a scientist by day and when she’s not on the river you can find her enjoying a good book or brew with friends and family.
